Wedding Portraits
A custom portrait created to celebrate the love and commitment shared between two people. Whether you’re looking for a meaningful wedding gift, a portrait of the bride or groom, or a portrait of the couple together, each piece is created to become a lasting keepsake.

About Me
My name is Josiah Sugden, and I am a portrait artist based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I am a proud graduate of Messiah University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in 2D Studies. I graduated in the spring of 2025, and it is now both an honor and a joy to pursue my passion for creating meaningful artwork for clients and art enthusiasts alike.

To request a portrait commission, please complete the commission request form on the Contact page. You may also contact me directly by email at Commissions.jsportraits@gmail.com.

Regular Portraits typically take anywhere from 10 to 40 hours.
Graduate and Wedding portraits typically take 50+ hours.
I typically complete 1–4 portrait commissions per week, depending on the size and level of detail of each portrait. Please refer to the current waiting list when planning to book a commission.

The waitlist is a live page that can be found under the Contact section beneath the Request Form.

A $25 booking fee is required to reserve a place on the commission waiting list. This fee secures your position on my commission schedule and is deducted from the total cost of your portrait.
Once your commission is ready to begin, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your portrait and covers the time, materials, and creative work involved in producing your custom artwork.
The remaining balance is due upon completion, before the finished portrait is delivered or shipped.
